Countdown

I saw this on the walls of Dimmies, at Richmond St. It's part of the graffiti. Yup, the city is full of wonderful graffiti.

It's Count Down till year 2009. Christmas has passed! I'm back. Yeah, I'm still alive, although the number of times I have dreamt of almost dying should be enough to justify my idiosyncrasies.

So the PMR 2008 results are out today. Suffice to say, like all days when the exam results are released, you feel that your life hangs in the balance. It is as stressful as it can be. I know that. I just experienced that at the end of November. I know how it was to be obsessed over the date results would be released, the feeling of stress and loss of sleep the night before, and I know one needs all the luck one can get, especially with our Malaysian examinations. But like any result day, it shall come and go like any other day. You wake up the following day with it being a distant memory. It'll be forgotten the following year...

2009 will be a time to shed old feathers, and grow new wings, for me at least. To think I was just preparing to fight a big battle- juggling the many subjects and to pass with decent results, look where I am now: on the precipice of another great battle, greater than any I have ever encountered. Another new adventure awaits me. New people(s), new experiences, new horizon. I hope, anyway.

So here's wishing everybody a wonderful, awesome, superb, blessed and joyous 2009 despite its ups and downs.

Oh yeah, Brandy says Hi. Yup, she's a cute dog with not a really nice history before she came over. She's sweet by nature but everything isn't perfect with her. She can be one very stubborn dog who just can't take no for an answer. And she hates dressing up.

Bobby says Hi too. He's the total opposite of Brandy. His shirt is a present from my sis, the consummate "mother hen" who always thinks of Bobby and Brandy each time she goes shopping online.

24 December 2008

YES. I am HOME. I'm Back to the virtual world after 3 weeks without internet. Man, it sure feels good to be home.

I'm tired. I'm beat. Flying budget airline long-haul was not exactly fun but beggars can't be choosers so yeah, it was not that bad then (though it could have been better if AirAsia X enabled their Chat feature on the way back).

I'm in dire need of proper sleep, after having to sit next to the Leech the whole way back home, sharing a single bed with her last night since she self-invited her niece to spent a night at KL Plaza with us and having her sleeping in my room now. Thank Goodness she's going back tomorrow. Ha

Jet lag has made me rather cranky and moody at the moment.

After unpacking, I gotta get ready for my next step in life.

Meanwhile, Merry Christmas people.
